When training with these kicking target pads, we were focusing on how both the holder and the kicker felt while training with these kicking target pads.
From the holders perspective, the durable straps were easy to use however most of the holders, didn’t use the straps whatsoever. It seems like a nice idea but they preferred to freehold them even if it meant the odd time they would be dropped from the holders hand.
The pads were very easy to adjust for the various kicking motions preformed by the athletes seamlessly switching between high and mid section strikes. Over all the rating was high from our holders.
The athlete enjoyed the feeling and sound made when using the Adidas Double Kick Target Pads. They were able to make solid contact with the exposed targets in all positions simulating a sparring match.
The longevity of these pads seem to be very good in comparison with other brands. Over time the handle will fatigue above the grip making the pad floppy and not as effective when in training. When your pads become fatigued, be sure to replace them sooner than later as this will effect your level of training.
Overall these are very good kicking pads which we do recommend to our readers to consider when purchasing Double Kick Target Pads.
